Welcome to a tour of the results of the digital restoration of this 8.17 cc glow plug engine with extreme cooling head for medium-sized RC helicopter models.
The OS-MAX-50SX-H-HYPER engine is a high-performance two-stroke engine that was specially developed for medium-sized remote-controlled helicopter models. The extreme cooling head ensures optimal heat dissipation. The term 'HYPER' in the product name refers to the extreme cooling head.
I created this engine as part of the digital restoration of a Henseleit Three-Dee-MP-50 RC helicopter back in 2018. The engine was first listed on the OS Linecard in 2004, but is still available from selected specialist dealers.
